"Corridors"
Often, checkered patterns are symbolic of an alternation between good and evil, a concept that humans have struggled with for ages; both on personal level and collectively. Placing the checkers underneath the feet of the angel, reflects a dominance or victory over the analogy. It implies that there is a way to overcome this conflict. Several angelic figures are scattered across the composition to represent the many forces offering their guidance to discern good and evil. But only one seems to stand true as it's depicted realistically, while the others appear as merely counterparts. To assert the authority of the true angel, a green curtain hangs behind it. There’s clarity and authority in truth which I wanted to portray.
