The most significant moment of my life was when God redeemed it. That moment inspired this painting. Drawing from Psalm 107:14, “He brought them out of the darkness, the utter darkness and broke away their chains,” I sought to capture the profound hope and liberation conveyed in this verse. The imagery of the lion carrying the girl from darkness to light, with the chains shattering, symbolizes the transformative power of God’s love— a theme that resonates with many believers who have experienced His grace.
My newfound love for oil paint urged me to paint this image of "Freedom" which I drew in graphite some years back. I'm pleased that the colors took on a significant role in conveying the message.
